I love these 3 prayers and the book The Scent of Water I read for the first time at age 19 in 1996 and it was one of the most life-changing wonderful books I have read; I talked about it for weeks if not months. I love Elizabeth Goudge and am slowly collecting her books! Just got _The Ikon on the Wall_ by here used for Christmas. God bless you!elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00962587884124992942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6774681833222176907.post-32009486368014478602017-01-10T17:30:25.762-06:002017-01-10T17:30:25.762-06:00Glad to hear you are warm again!

My water is working. Now Bill just has to reassemble the water heater.

AMDGJanethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09069018443486415173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6774681833222176907.post-55178435611213016592017-01-10T13:24:37.828-06:002017-01-10T13:24:37.828-06:00A great opening line...

We almost, but not quite, were forced to take refuge in a hotel. Especially since the glass in our front door is falling out and the wind blows through.

Did I mention that the kids have lice?

Life, it sometimes seems, is one thing after another.
