I've gotten over the idea that I'm going back to the seminary, but I'm still having trouble believing that I'm going back to the parish Monday--and the next Monday--and the next Monday.
I'm beginning to see that this is really true. When I got the job at the seminary, my boss, who was a friend, did not even ask me what I could do, but it soon became obvious that I was uniquely qualified to do just what was needed there, and now the same thing seems to be happening at the church.
Also, so many people have been so very, very nice and welcoming.
Exit interview. I've never had an exit interview before. Curiouser and curiouser.

It could take a year or so but you are in the right place. Grumpy
